Honda Scored Second Consecutive win at the Round 4 of the Petronas AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship 2010, Sepang International Circuit
SEPANG, June 13 - After taking his first victory of the season and first ever for Honda in the previous round at Batu Kawan, Penang on May 5, Norizman Ismail (Harian Metro SCK Honda Racing Team finished first (18:28.950)ahead of Shell Advance Yamaha Maju’s Ahmad Fazli Sham (18:29.011) and Petronas Sprinta Yamaha AHM’s Mohd Zamri Baba (18:29.237). During the timed practice, Norizman Ismail was clocked third fastest at 1:25.481.
It was a tough battled race with seasoned riders. Throughout the race, Norizman sat patiently in the leading pack with 5 other riders taking turns at the front. Norizman Ismail adopted a risky strategy when he decided to make his move only in the last turn of the final lap of a 13-lap race to cross the finish line first.
Honda had its day again at the Pertonas AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Championship Round 4 at the Sepang International Circuit. Once again, Honda has proven itself in various technical track leading ahead of others since the victory at Round 3 of the Petronas AAM Malaysian Cub Prix Batu Kawan and the podium finished achieved in the Petronas Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) at Autopolis, Japan recently.
